A small Quichuan community protects the rainforest of JuriJuri. Here pictured is one of the youngest members.

Many endangered palms not found elsewhere survive in JuriJuri. The Community is called Cuyacocha, which is named for one of these palms.

Coordinator Sergio Gualinga and a baby tapir. A certified guide, speaking both English and Spanish, Sergio will meet visitors in the frontier town of Puyo. This is the point of departure for the pristine forest of JuriJuri and an incredible rainforest experience.
